“Hon” Mirrors
Zany mirrors with beehive hairdos. The mirrors are constructed using cut PVC pieces from hairdo and face templates which I have designed. The mirror pieces are then painted with permanent enamel and acrylic paints. The mirrors are decorated with fun items such as crabs, foam curlers, flowers and beehives with bees. Earrings and signs are painted and attached using various types of chain. The mirrors are finished with polyacrylic so that they can be hung anywhere in your house including the bathroom where they may be exposed to a moist environment. We make five basic types of mirrors. These include the following:

	Queen Bee Mirror A zany mirror with a beehive and bee's surrounding an actual bee hive. The oval mirror size is 6.5 X5.5 inches. The round mirror is 6 inches in diameter. Hair is white and Beehive is yellow. There are no color options for this mirror. The face color can be Caucasian or African American. Earrings are miniature beehives. Sign can say "Queen Bee", "Bee-lieve, Hon!", "Bawlmer's Best Hon!", "Merlin's Best Hon!" or "Lookin Bootiful, Hon!"
	Curler MirrorA Zany mirror in bright, obnoxious colors decorated with foam curlers. The oval mirror size is 6.5 X5.5 inches. The round mirror is 6 inches in diameter. Curlers are available in pink, blue, yellow, green or black. The face color can be Caucasian or African American. The sign says “Lookin’ Bootifal, Hon!”. Sign can also be personalized. This mirror would be perfect for hair salons!
	Flower Mirror A wacky mirror with a beehive hairstyle decorated with flowers. The oval mirror size is 6.5 X5.5 inches. The round mirror is 6 inches in diameter. Flower is available in pink, blue or white. The face color can be Caucasian or African American. The Sign is available in “Lookin’ Bootiful, Hon!”, “Merlin’s Best Hon!”, or “Bawlmer’s Best Hon!”. Sign can also be personalized.
	Crab Mirror A zany mirror with a crab and ocean swirls. The oval mirror size is 6.5 X5.5 inches. The round mirror is 6 inches in diameter. Hair is white and crab is red. There are no color options for this mirror. The face color can be Caucasian or African American. Sign can say "Feelin' Crabby, Hon?", "Merlin's Best Hon!" or "Bawlmer's Best Hon!". !”. Sign can also be personalized.
	General Decoration MirrorGeneral decorations include wood cut-outs of stars, flowers, hearts and spirals. The oval mirror size is 6.5 X5.5 inches. The round mirror is 6 inches in diameter. The mirror is available in a wide range of colors. The face color can be Caucasian or African American. Sign can say "Merlin's Best Hon!", "Bawlmer's Best Hon!" or “Lookin’ Bootifal, Hon!”. Sign can also be personalized.

Fused Glass Night Lights Each component of the night light is hand-cut from a sheet of glass using a diamond ring saw. The nightlight is decorated with glass pieces cut from glass rods in a wide variety of colors. In some cases, glass paint is used to decorate the night lights The glass components are then hand assembled in a kiln and heated to 1400 oC until they fuse together.

Night lights are also available for penquins, lighthouses, dragonflies and cicadas.

Maryland Landmark Switch Plates

Landmark switch plates feature monuments, building or famous places in Baltimore and Washington D.C. Landmark switch plates include the name of the building or monument and in some cases have appropriate bawlmerese sayings for instance the Camden Yard switch plates include “Camden Yards” or Oriole Park” and “Go O’s!” or “Oh Dem O’s!”. These plates are painted with permanent enamels and the monument or building is applied using a decoupage process. The switch plates are embellished with permanent enamel paints and sealed with clear polyacrylic. Each switch plate comes with the appropriate number of white screws for installation. A wide variety of colors are available. Landmark switch plates can be made for any number of switches, however, larger buildings or monuments generally look better on a plate with 2 or more switches. Neighborhood Switch Plates

Neighborhood switch plates feature typical Baltimore rowhouses with labels corresponding to neighborhoods in Baltimore and Maryland towns. The labels can be done in English or in the Bawlmerese dialect. These plates are painted with permanent enamels and the rowhouses are applied using a decoupage process. The switch plates are embellished with permanent enamel paints and sealed with clear polyacrylic. Each switch plate comes with the appropriate number of white screws for installation. A wide variety of colors are available.

Neighborhood switch plates are also available for Charlotte, N.C and feature typical Charlotte bungalow style houses.

Switch Plates with Baltimore Colloquialisms and Sayings

These switch plates are decorated with Baltimore rowhouses and labeled with local sayings and city slogans such as “ Charm City”, “The Greatest City in ‘Merica” and “Hey Hon”. These plates are painted with permanent enamels and the rowhouses are applied using a decoupage process. The switch plates are embellished with permanent enamel paints and sealed with clear polyacrylic. Each switch plate comes with the appropriate number of white screws for installation. A wide variety of colors are available.

Whimsical switch plates of a southern 50's style lady complete with beehive hairdoo and cat's eye glasses. Your wall switch acts as the Hon’s nose. These switch plates are made in three basic syles: a bathing beauty Hon with a rubber flower bathing cap, a Hon where the hair is an actual beehive complete with bees and a hon having hair that is decorated with bright color enamel designs such as flowers, dots and swirls. These plates are painted with permanent enamels and the Hon faces are applied using a decoupage process. The switch plates are embellished with permanent enamel paints and sealed with clear polyacrylic. The foam cat’s eye glasses are individually hand cut and decorated with rhinestones.  Hon Jewelry

Hon Jewelry is made from Shrinky Dink plastic. Hon faces in two basic styles and embellished using permanent enamels. After baking, the backs and sides of the jewelry components are painted with bright colors and holes are drilled. Pins are assembled with handmade brass jump rings. The arms are created using basic wire-wrapping techniques and decorated with bright color seed and silver beads. Hon earrings are available in post, ear wire and hoop styles.

Floor Cloths

"Hon" floor clothes are ideal for floors in kitchen and bathrooms! "Hon" floor clothes are made by priming cotton duck with 2 coats of artist’s gesso on both sides followed by 2 coats of exterior latex paint on the front side. The edges are machine sewn or sealed with 2-sided carpet tape. The "hon" faces are hand drawn and painted with permanent markers and permanent enamels. The floor clothes are then sealed with clear polyacrylic. Clear paste wax is applied and buffed to a shine. Floor clothes can be ordered in any size and are exclusively custom order items. Contact us for pricing. Popular sizes are a half circle 3 feet by 2 feet (perfect for the kitchen sink area) and square 3 feet by 3 feet. Floor cloths are durable and are easily cleaned with a damp sponge and mild soap. These floor coverings do not hold dust, pet hair and dander.

Hon Christmas and Hannukah Ornaments

All ornaments are unique. Each ornament is hand drawn, painted and glittered so no two are alike. The base ornament is frosted glass 3.25 inches in diameter (80 mm). Holiday ornaments are available for both Christmas and Chanukah. Christmas "Hon"s have seasonal decorations in their hair such as Candy canes, Christmas trees, Wreaths, Flamingos with wreaths around their necks, Rowhouses, Christmas tree lights, Christmas ornaments and Snowmen. Chanukah "Hon"s have Menorahs, Dreidels and Stars of David in their hair. Seasonal greetings are located on the back of each ornament. Custom greetings are also available. Custom ornaments can be ordered for other events such as anniversaries and birthdays. . We also carry two styles of wedding ornaments featuring a “Hon” with a bridal veil. The wedding ornaments are perfect wedding party gifts. They are custom order items and can be labeled with the bride and groom’s names and the date of the wedding. They can also be personalized with the bridesmaids or ushers names.

Magnets

Magnets designs are created and transferred to matt board using a decoupage process. Magnets are hand-cut, embellished with permanent enamels and sealed with polyacrylic. The “Hon” magnet is also available with a yellow background.

Hon Aprons

Apron features my "Hon" with a BBQ Fork and Spatula on a white apron. The caption is "D'jeet Yet, Hon?".The apron is available in two sizes: adjustable and small. The small apron is perfect for a child or small sized person. The adjustable apron will fit anyone.

 Crab Switch Plates

Everyone needs a crab switch plate. After all Merlin ( Maryland) Crabs are the best, Hon! Switch plates are painted with permanent enamels and then our animal designs are applied using a decoupage process. The switch plates are embellished with permanent enamel paints and sealed with clear polyacrylic. Each switch plate comes with the appropriate number of white screws for installation. A wide variety of colors are available. Bawlmerese labels for the crab switch plates are “Downy Oshun, Hon!”,” Merlin Crabs, Hon!” and “Chesterpeake Bay Crabs, Hon!” Of course, switch plate labels are available in english as well. Switch plates can be custom ordered with your beach of choice.

Flamingo Switch Plates

The “Pink Flamingo” is an icon for the Baltimore Hon. A true “Baltimoron” has at least one plastic flamingo lawn ornament. Put a pink flamingo switch plate on your wall! Switch plates are painted with permanent enamels and then our animal designs are applied using a decoupage process. The switch plates are embellished with permanent enamel paints and sealed with clear polyacrylic. Each switch plate comes with the appropriate number of white screws for installation. Harry Potter Switch plates were designed to celebrate the publication of Janet Rowling’s latest book. They are perfect for children’s rooms, as well as the adult Potter fan!
